Alexei Maslov, Dean of the School of Oriental and African Studies at Moscow State University, stated during the Eastern Economic Forum that a positive attitude towards Chinese brands has been formed in Russia. He said, "Russia is one of the countries where Chinese brands are very well-known. Now Russians buy products from well-known Chinese brands because they have proven their high quality." He said, "Our task now is to make Chinese citizens associate more Russian products with high quality.

Maslov stated that Russian products are still regional in China, mainly sold to the northeast region and sometimes also to the central region. He said, "But at present, it cannot be said that it has gained an advantage in China like Western brands, it will take time.
