A study by MTS, the Russian telecommunications operator, shows that the top-selling smartphone in the Russian market in the first half of this year is the Chinese Xiaomi Redmi A2+, and the most popular brand is Xiaomi.

Data indicates that in the first half of this year, 14.1 million smartphones were sold in the Russian market, generating sales of 342 billion rubles. This represents a 10% increase in sales volume and a 24% increase in sales revenue compared to the same period last year.

Popular smartphones also include the Realme Note 50, Redmi 12, and Redmi 13C. MTS stated that Apple ranks in the top five in revenue, with the new iPhone ranking first.

The research further indicates that between January and June of this year, 11.4 million Chinese smartphones valued at 168 billion rubles were sold in the Russian market, representing a 16% increase in volume and a 21% increase in revenue compared to the same period last year.
